Welcome! The Salvation Army of Calumet County is here to provide you hope and help to the challenges you are having. Our Mission is to let Christ’s love shine through each one of us, by lifting up every family that walks through our door.
Through support from communities and commodity food from USDA’s The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) our food pantry is blessed to be able to supplement the diets of low income families with safe and healthy food.
New families are always welcome. As a recipient of USDA food, income guidelines apply to participate. Income guidelines have been eased during COVID-19 to help many families. For more information about income guidelines, our pantry, and other services our Center provides, we invite your call, or visit to our website http://www.sacalumet.org and Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/sacalumet.
On your food pantry visit during the COVID-19 emergency we will greet you outside our doors, pack your food inside while you wait, and bring the food out in a cart for you. To help maintain the health of families we sanitize our pantry regularly during the day and follow social distancing requirements.
