Extension Outagamie brings the resources of the University of people where they live and work. We connect the resources of the University.
Available to all. Language translations are available with advance notice of the workshops being offered. Some of our materials are available in Spanish and Hmong.
In the Human Development and Relationships program area we offer programs concerning family resiliency, parenting, grand parenting, care giving, co-parenting, financial management, Rent Smart, and “Taking Care of You” workshops as examples. We are available for educational outreach on food safety and food preservation updates utilizing the most current research-based food preservation procedures. We work with a variety of community collaborative efforts such as the Outagamie Caregiver Coalition, Child Care Resource and Referral, Children Caught in the Middle and It’s All Relative.
Our programs include Agriculture, Crops, Soils, Dairy Livestock, Horticulture, Positive Youth Development, 4-H Outreach, Community Development, Human Development and Relationships, and the FoodWise program.
We work with volunteer organizations such as 4-H Youth Development, Home Community Education and Master Gardeners to expand the resources of the University in the county.
Our programs are shared via community workshops, phone consultations, one-on-one counseling and collaborative outreach with a variety of agencies

We serve Outagamie County as our primary focus and conduct programs throughout the county at area sites such as county libraries, schools, and sites open to the public that are handicapped accessible. Upon request, we can have translation services available.
