We ask you to join us in advocating for our local, state, and federal governments to make decisions that allow the nonprofit community to continue to carry out critical missions during the COVID-19 response and recovery.

Current advocacy opportunities:

Complete the 2020 Census

Please do your part to ensure that every person in the Fox Valley is counted! Responding is quick, easy, and confidential. Be counted! You can complete the Census by mail, phone or online. To respond today or for more information, go to www.2020CENSUS.GOVYou also have the option of completing the questionnaire by phone. To begin, call 844-330-2020 or find phone numbers with alternative language support on the website.

Why does the Census matter? Most importantly, it determines how about $675 billion dollars in federal funds and grants gets allocated in the U.S. throughout states, counties, and local communities, like the Fox Cities. Right now, it is more important than ever; the Census data is being used to calculate the amount of COVID-19 federal response dollars coming to the State of Wisconsin and its citizens.

Businesses use the data to determine where to build offices and factories. Local governments use the data to prepare for disasters and focus on public safety. Residents use the data to support community initiatives. By taking part in the Census, we can ensure that the Fox Cities has strong infrastructure, health care, and food assistance. We can shape the future of our community.
